The girls informed me they never had a 'Steak Dinner', so I invited them over for a dinner/movie night. Complete with a Culpeper favorite, the STEIMAL BOMB. I can only hope they enjoyed the food as much as I enjoyed treating them!

After a short connecting flight from Amsterdam to Bratislava, I was excited to find my Slovak friends, Eva and Maria, arriving at Bratislava airport to greet me! Over the next few days, they walked us around Bratislava, and even got me familiar with local customs and authentic Slovak food!

After a loooong drive from Virginia to Albany, New York (and and even longer drive back due to sleep deprivation), I was finally able to hang out with my friends who were here visiting temporarily from Slovakia. The 'Team' also coined the new phrase T.A.T.T. (Thus meaning, 'Tony And The Team').

Over the past week, it has rained in Virginia nearly non-stop. Roads out my way flooded so heavily that I was unable to get home for a few days. With a tropical storm also heading our way, there didn't seem like much end in sight.
